What expenses will I have?Expenses for Authority Owners are as follows: Dispatch - approx. $500 per week (to be deducted weekly from your owner operator) Insurance - TBD (to be deducted weekly from your owner operator) ELD - approx. $15-$25 per week (to be deducted weekly from your owner operator) Tags (may be optional) Tags for your Owner Operator can range from 1500-200 per year. This is your expense but can be deducted from your Owner Operator. Additional Operational Expenses may include: We have a bunch of owner operators that are always being vetted. However, they are unable to obtain either plates and/or bobtail and physical damage insurance. Ideally, most Trucking companies offer this as an incentive to their Owner Operators, paying the monthly premium and charging it back to the owner operator each week. This will create longevity between you and your owner operator. This is similar to what the larger companies do to retain their owner operators. On average, bobtail will be $3k (broken down into installments ) per year, with a partial down payment $250 monthly with an average deduction of $65 a week. This option will also move you to the front of the onboarding que. What does it mean to lease?Leasing on to a trucking company means to work your Semi under that company's name or otherwise known as ”Authority”. This is very similar to how Uber uses the vehicles of small businesses to work under their company name.

How long until I hit the road?Each client is unique different. We recommend a 90-120 day window for setup. This may be subject to change depending on your state. Processing times can vary depending on factors outside of our control.

How long does insurance quotes take?Insurance typically takes one - two week to process. This may be subject to change. Each client is unique depending on the state or other factors like experience.

How long does it take to set up factoring?Factoring can take up to one week.

What should I be doing while I wait for the process to complete?While waiting for your package to be completed, please start promoting your company via social media and online platforms like Craiglist and Indeed. You will be provided a Trucking class and Promotional package to assist you with this

Does the truck come equipped with a driver?Yes

Am I responsible for maintenance?No

How much of my time will be needed to run this operation?Invoicing should not take more than one hour, per week, of your time.

What are my daily weekly duties?Weekly duties include but are not limited to invoicing, admin duties, communication with dispatch and/or driver. This can change depending on the need of the business at that time.

What are my out of pocket expenses?Insurance is an out pocket expense. This can range between $1110-$3800 for downpayment, and between $1400-$2300 per month. Tags may also be another out of pocket expense. They can range between 1500-2000 depending on your state . This may not be necessary if your owner operator already has tags. What if I already have an authority?Should you already have an authority, there is a $1499 discount on the set up portion of the purchase.

Can I purchase trucks only?Yes

Who will dispatch the truck?A dispatcher will be allocated to your company.

Can I dispatch myself?Should you decide to dispatch your own truck, you are free to do so AFTER the 30 day window to keep your warranty in place.

Who will pay me?Your factoring company will pay you daily or weekly depending on your desire.

Do you charge any additional fees?No, once the purchase has been made, we do not charge any additional fees.

Are payment plans available?Yes, increments of at least 5k are available for payment plans. Please email us at thecompasscircle@gmail.com if you would like installment payments. Please include in the email your name, address, phone number, email address you would like the invoice sent to, amount of the invoice (in increments of 5k) and date you would like the invoice to be due.

Am I able to partner with someone?Yes, should you choose to partner that is your decision.

Do I need a trailer?Trailers are not mandatory but we highly suggest you rent or buy one. This will increase your revenue drastically.
